I’m curious to see if people think my tastes changed or if they think it’s mostly the same. Hey, if you actually read this, try and guess which songs will appear on this list and which won’t appear on this list. So, the songs that made it here are the songs I still like listening to, even if I don’t mostly listen to Vocaloid.
Good news is that it’s somewhat similar bad news is that it’s not the same or almost the same because my taste changed, and I also mostly left the Vocaloid fandom for k-pop. If you saw my personal top ten list a year or two (I think it’s closer to two) ago, then you might have some idea of what my list looks like. (I am totally late on this list, but in my defense, I hadn’t planned on doing so because I was busy, until that thing happened.) So what better way to celebrate almost half the year gone with a look back on the 2010s and yes, I know it’s technically not the start of a new decade, but everyone else did these type of lists, so I will too. And while some of these characters are no longer accessible for those who are starting out, there are plenty of characters out there that are just as talented and well-designed as the ones listed above.It’s 2020, and what a year it is. From well-known voice actors to their design and backstory, each of them is loved by fans for different reasons. Vocaloids are not only versatile but are also unique in their own way. Also, her voice belongs to well-known Japanese voice actress Saki Fujita, known for her roles in Boruto the Next Generation, Sword Art Online, and funnily enough, the AI robot Ritsu in Assassination Classroom.
This character is seen everywhere, from video games to other IPs, touring in other countries, etc, pretty much making her the unofficial face of Vocaloids. Most people’s first taste of Vocaloid is through Hatsune Miku, more specifically through the song “World is Mine”. The most iconic and popular Vocaloid, Hatsune Miku is well known throughout pop culture and is widely used by multiple Vocaloid music producers.
